Mariah Carey shone on stage at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards ceremony. Shortly before receiving the honorary Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, the superstar took the stage for an unforgettable medley of her greatest hits.

She began her performance with the song "Sugar Sweet," which was released this summer, while wearing a champagne silk robe adorned with feathers.

"Heartbreaker," "Obsessed," "Like That," and "We Belong Together" followed. As she performed "Dreamlover," she removed her robe to reveal a dazzling gold bodysuit with long sleeves and rhinestones. The glamorous look was completed with high-end jewelry, including a stunning diamond necklace and earrings by LEVUMA, worth $10 million. Also wearing a pair of tall boots that perfectly matched the ensemble, the singer literally shone on stage.

She was then honored with the Video Vanguard Award, which was presented to her by Ariana Grande.
