Mariah Carey made her VMAs debut a staggering 36 years ago—but it wasn't until 2025 that she took home her first award. And she made sure to up the wattage for the special occasion.

At the 2025 VMAs, Carey appeared on stage in a glittering golden bodysuit with a plunging zip-up fastening. The real centerpiece of the look, however, was her giant diamond choker necklace.

Styled by Wilfredo Rosado and placed by D’Orazio World, she wore LEVUMA's “Rosée Éternelle” diamond necklace worth a cool $10 million and featuring 204.38 carats of white diamonds. The piece was handcrafted in Antwerp over more than 600 hours. She also wore earrings from LEVUMA, along with a 72.15 carat diamond bracelet from Etho Maria.

The singer picked up the Video Vanguard Award this year. She also gave her first performance at the ceremony in 20 years, performing an epic medley of songs from her career so far, including "Heartbreaker," "Honey," and "Fantasy."
