Ali Khalil is a fifth generation diamantaire and ex-Goldman Sachs executive with a passion for excellence. His great grandparents began their career trading rough diamonds in Sierra Leone before travelling across the globe to set up a base in Antwerp, the world’s diamond capital. Ali chose to honour his family heritage by naming his company LEVUMA, after the remote village in Sierra Leone that was the location of the first plot of land allocated to his grandparents to mine diamonds.
